frequent ?'s

Is the site free?
Yes, it is 100% free.

How do I create a poll?

Click here and follow the instructions listed on the page.

Is there any limit to the number of polls I can setup?
No, there is no limit.

Is this anonymous?
Yes, it is completely anonymous. Personal, identifying information is completely prohibited in any posting. You may use aliases, but any real first name, last name, nick name, email address, DOB, etc is strictly prohibited.

How do I report if personal, identifying information is posted about me?
Go here and send us an email. Be sure to include your case code so that we can locate your information in our database. The case will be removed from the website.

How do I view my results?
Click here and login with your case code. Your results will be displayed if voting has ended.

How long does it take for voting to end?
15 days.

Why couldn't a winner be determined in my case?
If people view your case as "boring" they may just skip over it, finding another case to vote on. If the case is poorly written (lots of grammar and spelling errors) people may skip over your case. If both sides present strong arguments, voters may select "neutral" for their vote. If there's not enough information to determine a "winner", voters may vote "neutral" as well.

Can you send me my case code?
Currently, we have no way of doing this. Check with your opponent as they use the same code.

Can I vote on my own poll?
You can but it won't make a difference. The website receives a tremendous amount of traffic and votes on a daily basis which would offset any attempt. But, you wouldn't want to do this anyway since it's clearly not right. Don't make us prove YOU wrong on this.

Can my friends vote on my behalf?
Nice try. See the question above.

What type of problems or issues can I create a poll on?
Any ongoing problem or issue, in the context of a marriage, family, friendship, dating/engagement. Basically, it's about resolving a disagreement between spouses, friends, family members, etc

Is my data deleted?
Your case is no longer viewable to the public after 15 days. After 45 days, your case will be deleted from our database. If your case was rated as a big deal or outrageous by voters, there's a good chance you'll make it to our hall of fame page.

I know I'm right but the poll results say I'm wrong
Your opponent thought you were wrong and it turns out THEY were right. They PROVED it. Not only do they think you're wrong, everyone else in the western world seems to agree. One word. Hopeless.

Who votes on these things?
The two people that are having the disagreement are reflected in the voter profile. Since we use a screening process, people in the same age range and sex vote on your issue, representing both sides.

Is this scientific?
No. This website is strictly for entertainment purposes only. It is a rough, non-scientific poll. Nonetheless, you'll get a pretty good idea of what other people think about who's right in your disagreement - and how big of a deal it really is.

Why does your site look like crap?
Technically, now a days it's nearly impossible to deliver a site that looks good across all platforms. There exists an unlimited number of viewing platforms including PDA's, wide screens, LCD's, CRT's, Web TV, etc. These platforms all have drastically different resolutions and interpret color differently. Gone are the days of web safe colors and cross-platform design. Besides, maybe we think YOU look like crap. What's your excuse?

Who runs this site?
I run the site completely out of my apartment in Ohio (United States).
